Alfalfa / Orchard Grass Mix

Our Alfalfa/Orchard Grass mix field is proactively managed to provide our customers with only the highest quality mix of premium legume/grass hay available.  Our Alfalfa/Orchard Grass mix hay starts with a regimented schedule of soil testing to ensure the proper balance of nutrients and minerals are available to the plant.  By using a mix of CROPLAN and CISCO brand seed, we plant only the highest grade seed to maximize hay quality.  Our Alfalfa seed is a CROPLAN variety called Gunner and the Orchard Grass is called LATE MATE II.  We use this seed mix because it is partially coated, treated and inoculated to provide plant vigor for regular harvests and high quality mix hay for our customers.
